Your Tag-Along Australian Tour Guides
John White and Mark Holland have, for the last 30 years, been travelling the outback of Australia with friends and family by 4 wheel drive. Together, they have been in some of the most remote areas of Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, fishing and photographing the ever changing land of Australia.
The success of the outback trips organised with friends over this period has led to them being asked to share their unique view on 4x4 challenges with other Australian travellers. To this end, they formed Tag-Along 4WD Adventure Tours Australia and, as owner operators, come well equipped to guide you on your 4x4 tag-along outback adventure trek.
John and Mark both live in the bush, on the South Coast of New South Wales, on acreage where sometimes, just to get to work (both are accredited contractors in the building industry), you have to negotiate rough tracks and roads only accessible by 4 wheel drive.
John has worked in the outback on a number of Australian outback properties where the same rules applied. You can't wait for conditions to improve. The job must be done and you have to get there, no matter what.
He has also owned his own fishing trawler, as a long liner, and he and his family owned a newsagency for a number of years. John and his wife Helen boast that they have been on every track on the Australian map, and then some.
Mark was born in Broken Hill NSW Australia and, from an early age, worked on a farming property where mechanical repairs to all types of vehicles and machinery/equipment was the norm - as well as being able to negotiate the vehicles and equipment anywhere they were needed around the property in all weather and conditions. All this, way before he was even old enough to have a license to drive.
He has not only travelled just about every 4x4 route in Australia, but also a lot of tracks only negotiable by motorbike, on his BMW Paris/Dakar enduro motorcycle.
The combined experience and first hand knowledge these two guys have in this field bring to you a unique approach to Tag Along, and an enthusiasm to share with you a totally new 4WD adventure in the Australian Outback.
